About Thomas More College

Thomas More College is a liberal arts college located in Crestview Hills, which is a city in the US state of Kentucky, in Kenton County, with a small population of nearly 2900 inhabitants, according to the 2000 census.

The college was established in 1921 and was founded by the Benedictine Sisters as Villa Madonna College, to train Catholic school teachers and to provide college education for young women. It was not originally located in Crestview Hills, being moved to its present location in 1968, which is the same year when it also received its present name.

Today, Thomas More College has an enrollment of approximately 1900 full-time and part-time students, and it is nationally ranked for its educational programs, which mainly focus on educating future leaders in the worlds of business and education.

Athletics

Thomas More's athletic teams are known as the Saints and they compete in NCAA's Division III, in the Presidents' Athletic Conference, in various sports, for both men and women, which include basketball, baseball, football, golf, soccer, tennis and cross country. Their distinctive colors are blue and white and their mascot is Tommy Mo.
